Orijinative is an Indigenous-led organization delivering in-community Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) training and deployment-ready drone programs across Canada.
As the training and education arm of the Orijinative Group of Companies, we provide hands-on instruction in RPAS operations, safety, mapping, thermal applications, and advanced drone use—aligned with Transport Canada certification standards and designed for real-world deployment.
Our programs are delivered on site, allowing communities and organizations to build internal capacity without the cost or disruption of travel.
Our approach is rooted in Indigenous principles of respect, reciprocity, and responsibility to the land, while meeting the technical and safety requirements expected by public safety agencies, governments, and industry partners.
We work with:
First Nations communities
Public safety and emergency response teams
Government and organizational programs
Industry partners operating in Indigenous territories
Our goal is not simply to issue certificates, but to support teams to become operationally ready—capable of safely deploying drones for environmental monitoring, infrastructure inspection, emergency response, and health-related applications.
Orijinative operates with a team of certified Advanced and Complex instructors, delivering training programs across Canada. We support learners and organizations from introductory training through advanced and organizational pathways, including equipment and technical support through Orijinative Drones.
To see Indigenous Peoples leading in Canada’s airspace—flying with purpose, innovation, and responsibility.
To build Indigenous drone capability through culturally grounded aviation education and world-class technical training, enabling communities and organizations to train, equip, and operate their own drone programs safely and confidently.
